Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 3 tablespoons oil or butter
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 3/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste (or minced ginger garlic)
  • 3/4 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 2 cups chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon amchur powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • 200 grams cubed paneer
  • 3 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Instruction

  • Heat 3 tablespoons oil or butter in a tawa or griddle.
  • Add bay leaf and saute well. Add cumin seeds and temper it. Next add chopped onions and saute well until soft.
  • Next add minced ginger garlic and saute well till raw smell goes off.
  • Now add the chopped bell peppers and saute well for 4-5 minutes.
  • Next add chopped tomatoes and mix well. Add salt, spice powders and saute well till tomatoes get cooked and leave out fat from the sides.
  • Now add paneer cubes and toss well. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Finally add coriander leaves and mix well. Remove from flame and add lemon juice. Mix well and serve hot.
