Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 2 tbs onion flakes
  • 4 tbs tikka masala Indian curry paste
  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 4 tsp poppy seeds

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 200C.
  • Combine beef mince, onion flakes, curry paste and salt and pepper, mix thoroughly.
  • Cut pastry sheet in half lengthways, place a quarter of the mince mixture down long edge of each piece.
  • Brush pasty with egg and roll up to enclose.
  • Brush each roll with egg, sprinkle with poppy seeds and place on a baking paper-lined tray.
  • Cut each roll into 4 cm pieces, bake for 25 minutes until sausage rolls are crisp and golden.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.
