Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning (click link for homemade recipe)
  • ¼ cup water
  • 16 ounces crescent roll dough (2 (8 count) refrigerated packages)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons diced green onions

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Add the ground beef to a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the ground beef until it’s browned, around 5-7 minutes.
  • Drain any grease from the skillet.
  • Add the taco seasoning and 1/4 water to the skillet and stir to combine all of the ingredients.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, then remove the skillet from the stove.
  • Roll out the crescent rolls on a piece of parchment paper.
  • Add a spoonful of the taco seasoned beef mixture about an inch from the top of each crescent roll dough triangle.
  • Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the ground beef.
  • Starting at the top of the crescent roll dough, roll the dough over the beef and cheese, and continue rolling up tightly.
  • Fold any excess dough on the side over the top of the crescent roll.
  • Transfer the taco crescent rolls to a baking sheet.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and serve with toppings like sour cream and diced green onions, if you'd like.
