- 1 cup Roasted Vermicelli (see notes)
- 1 cup Water ((2 cups for stovetop method))
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder (Elaichi)
- 4-5 strands Saffron (Kesar)
- Pistachios (sliced, to garnish (optional))
