  • 1 1/2 cups white or apple cider vinegar (5% acidity)
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated white sugar
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 3 teaspoons Salt for Pickling and Preserving
  • 3 teaspoons yellow mustard seeds
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 3 medium dried bay leaves
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried crushed red pepper
