Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp honey
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp freshly minced ginger
  • 2 tsp freshly chopped garlic
  • 1-2 tsp asian chile sauce
  • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2" strips
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch, for coating
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instruction

  • Mix together brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and asian chile sauce.
  • Place chicken in bag or bowl and coat sliced chicken with cornstarch.
  • Heat oil in pan over medium heat.  Add chicken and brown on all sides.
  • Pour sauce mixture over chicken.  Simmer, uncovered until sauce thickens.  About 5-8 minutes.
  • Serve over rice, with a side of sauteed vegetables.  Sprinkle with green onion if desired.
