Ingredients

The following ingredients have 16 Servings
  • 1-pound ground turkey
  • 1-pound ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 ½ tablespoons fennel seeds, crushed
  • 1 ½ tablespoons dried oregano leaves
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons coarse salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried sage
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼-½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instruction

  • Heat a large cast iron skillet to medium-high heat.
  • Combine turkey, pork, maple syrup and seasonings in a medium bowl. Mix thoroughly, then form into small patties.
  • Place patties into the hot skillet. Cook 4-5 minutes per side, until each side is browned and crispy and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
