Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 8 basil leaves
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 10 oz baquette bread (10 slices)
  • 4 tbsp sun dried tomatoes in oil (drained)
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar glaze
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instruction

  • First, preheat oven to 400F.
  • Next, layer the basil leaves on top of each other, roll them and cut them width-wise to form ribbons.
  • Meanwhile, add half of the basil ribbons, goat cheese, heavy cream, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Then, add the bread slices to a cookie sheet and put in the oven for about 10 minutes to toast. Set a timer.
  • Then, cut the sun dried tomatoes into small pieces.
  • Next, when bread is done toasting. Spread the goat cheese mixture on top of each piece of bread.
  • Then, top with sun dried tomato pieces and remaining basil ribbons.
  • Last, drizzle with balsamic vinegar glaze.
