Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups Flour (-see post for details and alternatives)
- 2 tsp Cream of Tartar
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Matcha powder
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 ½ cup Stevia (- see post for details and alternatives.)
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 cup Sugar Free Cinnamon Sugar (-see post for details.)
Instruction
- Preheat your oven to 325 and prep two cookies sheets for nonstick. I use parchment paper.
- In a medium mixing bowl, use a fork or a whisk to combine the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt and Matcha powder. Set this bowl aside.
- Next, in a mixing bowl beat together the butter and sugar alternative until smooth. Then mix in the eggs and vanilla extract. Add the dry ingredients from the first bowl to the mixing bowl and ix until just incorporated.
- In a shallow bowl, use a fork or whisk to blend together the remining sugar alternative and ground cinnamon. Using a small cookie scoop or a tablespoon, scoop up a ball of the cookie dough and then roll it through the cinnamon sugar mix in the shallow bowl. Then place the cookie on to the prepped baking sheet and press it flat. Bake the cookies for 10- 12 minutes or until the edges begin to brown. Remove the cookies from the oven, sprinkle additional cinnamon sugar (alternative) on top. Then allow the cookies to cool on the sheet for 10 minutes before transferring them to a rack to finish cooling.
