Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 Egg whites
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 cup Nuts (cashews or almonds)
  • 1/2 cup Sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup Almond meal
  • 1/4 cup Chia seeds (optional)
  • ½ tsp Sea salt

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F/ 177°C/ Gas Mark 4
  • In a large bowl, combine egg whites and honey. Use a whisk to ensure it's well combined. Add the oats, nuts, seeds, almond meal, chia seeds, and sea salt.Pro tip - make sure that every grain is coated with the egg mixture because the egg whites are the glue that holds everythign together.
  • Pour into a 10 x 10-inch baking pan or baking dish lined with parchment papers. Press firmly - I use a piece of parchment paper to press down.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until it's dry and slightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven - and cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then, cool on a wire rack for another 10 mins.
  • While still slightly warm using a sharp knife cut into bars, as shown in the video. Cool completely. Then, store in an airtight container.
