- 12 ¼ oz granulated sugar ((1 ¾ cups))
- 4 eggs (at room temperature)
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 9 ½ oz all-purpose flour ((2 1/4 cups))
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 12 egg whites
- 18.66 oz granulated sugar ((2 2/3 cups))
- 1 1/3 lbs unsalted butter (soft but still cool)
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- regal purple gel food coloring (I used Americolor Regal Purple & Electric Purple)
- Green Gel food coloring (I used Americolor Leaf Green)
- 16 oz purple sanding sugar ((not all will be used on the cake))
- royal icing daisy flowers
- Chocolate Easter figurines
- Jelly beans or chocolate eggs
- Other Easter candies as desired
