Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 Bitter gourd (Medium sized)
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Black mustard seed
- 1 tbsp White mustard seed
- 6 cloves Garlic
- 1 Onion
- 4 Green chilis
- 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
- Salt
Instruction
- Slit each bitter one side vertically so that you can put the stuffing inside. Boil one cup water ,when it reach boiling point add bitter gourd to it .Boil for 2 minute. Take it out ,cool a bit.Take seed out of the bitter gourds.
- Make a fine paste of garlic , mustard seeds. Chop onion and green chili.
- Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in a pan.Fry onion till they are brown.Add garlic-mustard paste to it.Add chopped green chili ,salt ,turmeric and fry till it is done , you get a dry paste. Your masala is ready for stuffing.Stuff all the gourd with this paste.
- In the same pan heat oil. Fry stuffed gourd at medium flame until they are light brown on all side.Don't overcook it.
