Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Cookie Mix Gingerbread
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) softened butter
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 egg
- Tubes (4.25 oz) of Betty Crocker™ Decorating Icing in white, red, green or any preferred colors
- Betty Crocker™ decorating decors
- Candy eyes
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir the cookie mix, butter, water and egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut out your shapes and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Use a 1/2-inch circle cutter or a knife to make holes, bite marks or to cut off limbs. Or, pose the cookies by gently bending their limbs.
- Bake the cookies for 8 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are well set. Let the cookies cool completely.
- Decorate the cookies with decorating icing, decors and candy eyes. To adhere the decors and candy eyes, pipe a bit of icing on the cookie first.
