Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- 3 Cups strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 3 Tablespoon lemon juice (fresh)
Instruction
- Place sugar and water into a medium saucepan and bring to a slow boil stirring often. Quickly lower heat and simmer while stirring for an additional 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Wash and trim off the stems of the strawberries and place in a blender along with the lemon juice. Blend into a puree that is smooth and free of chunks.
- Add sugar mixture to the strawberry mixture and briefly blend on low speed for 15 to 30 seconds.
- Pour mixture to a bread tin or ice cube trays and place in a freezer for at least 3 to 4 hours or until firm.
- Scoop out with ice cream scooper or spoon and serve.
