Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1.5 kilogram american-style pork spare ribs
- 1 cup (250ml) water
- 1/3 cup (115g) orange marmalade
- 1/3 cup (80ml) kecap manis
- 4 clove garlic, crushed
- 8 centimetre piece fresh ginger (40g), grated
- 2 teaspoon five-spice powder
Instruction
- Combine ribs and the water in 6-litre (24-cup) pressure cooker; secure lid. Bring cooker to high pressure. Reduce heat to stabilise pressure; cook 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in large bowl. Preheat grill (broiler).
- Release cooker pressure using the quick release method; remove lid. Drain ribs; combine with marmalade mixture. Place ribs, in single layer, on oiled wire rack over large shallow baking dish filled with 1cm (½ inch) water.
- Grill ribs about 8 minutes or until browned, turning halfway through cooking time and brushing occasionally with remaining marmalade mixture.
