Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 1/2 lbs NY strip steak
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp thyme
  • 2 tbsp parsley

Instruction

  • Pat the steaks dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and crushed red pepper
  • Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil
  • Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side (this will cook them to medium doneness)
  • Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix the softened butter with the minced garlic, thyme, and parsley
  • Serve the steaks with the garlic-herb butter
