Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 1/2 lbs NY strip steak
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter (softened)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp thyme
- 2 tbsp parsley
Instruction
- Pat the steaks dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and crushed red pepper
- Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil
- Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side (this will cook them to medium doneness)
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix the softened butter with the minced garlic, thyme, and parsley
- Serve the steaks with the garlic-herb butter
