Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 0.5 cup almonds
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 bunch Basil (approx. 40 g | 1 cup, leaves torn off)
  • 2 Tbsps Parmesan (grated)
  • 0.375 cup olive oil
  • 1.667 cups Broccoli
  • 1.667 cups Cauliflower
  • 1.5 cups Baby carrots
  • 2 Bell pepper (yellow and red, diced)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 Ribeye Steaks

Instruction

  • To make the sauce, dry roast the almonds in a pan. Remove and leave to cool.
  • Grind the garlic with some salt and ground black pepper in a mortar. Add the basil, cheese and nuts and grind well. Gradually add the oil until a pesto-like sauce is formed. Season with salt.
  • Place the vegetables in a steamer, season with salt and drizzle with oil. Steam for around 8 minutes.
  • Season the steaks with salt and ground black pepper and grill on both sides for around 4-8 minutes depending on preference. Serve with the vegetables, the sauce and chips, if desired.
