Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 12 3x3 inch French rolls (sliced)
- Olive oil
- Fresh garlic (to rub on bread)
- 16 oz leftover steak or trip tip (cooked and sliced)
- 12 thick mozzarella slices
- 12 thick slices of tomato
- 12 large basil leaves
- 1 3.5 oz pkg rice crackers
- Hummus
- Cherries
- Balsamic glaze
Instruction
- Slice the rolls in half and drizzle with olive oil; rub garlic cloves on each side. Add sea salt.
- Broil for 1-2 minutes. Place on one side of a large board or tray.
- Heat up the sliced steak pieces and place in a bowl.
- On a large plate, arrange the tomato and cheese slices and fresh basil. Place the steak in the middle of a board (in a bowl).
- Around the outside, place the crackers, hummus, and cherries. Serve with a bottle of balsamic glaze for drizzling on the sandwich (optional).
