Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter (divided)
- 1 pound Yukon gold potatoes (cut into bite-size pieces)
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning mix
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1½ pound sirloin steak (cut into bite-size pieces)
- salt and pepper (to taste)
Instruction
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat add the olive oil and half of the butter.
- Add the cubed potatoes to the skillet and season with about half of the Italian herb mix.
- Cook the potatoes for 3-4 minutes, then stir and allow them to continue cooking until fork tender.
- Remove the potatoes from the skillet and set them aside.
- Next, place the skillet back on the stove and turn the heat up to high.
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the steak bites in a single layer.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce on top of the steak.
- Allow the steak to get a good sear on the first side, about 1-2- minutes, before turning the pieces. Repeat until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Return the cooked potatoes back to the pan and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
