Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil (divided)
  • 1 cup onion (diced)
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lb skirt steak (sliced)
  • ½ cup soy sauce (Tamari for gluten free)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated or ½ tsp ground ginger)
  • ¼ cup sriracha
  • 4 cups cooked white rice
  • ¼ cup green onions (chopped)

Instruction

  • Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the onions and peas.
  • Cook 4-5 minutes, then add the garlic.
  • Cook for 1 minute then move the vegetables to one side of the pan and crack the eggs in the other side.
  • Scramble the eggs, then combine with the vegetables.
  • Move the vegetables and eggs to one side of the pan.
  • Add the additional tablespoon of sesame oil to the other side of the pan.
  • Add the steak and cook for 1-2 minutes until seared on the outside.
  • Add the soy sauce, ginger and Sriracha.
  • Mix everything together.
  • Add the rice, combine everything and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the green onions and serve.
