Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1- (10-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar jack cheese

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Start by adding the spinach to a microwave safe steamer; then cook on high for 5-6 minutes until defrosted. Drain the excess water; then place in a mixing bowl.
  • In a small bowl, add the eggs, milk, garlic powder, nutmeg, salt and pepper; then whisk together and add to the spinach along with the cheese. Mix together; then place in the 1-quart baking dish.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the soufflé is puffed up in the center and the top springs back when gently touched.
