Ingredients

The following ingredients have 2 Servings
  • 1/2 cup (3.5oz, 100gr) quick-cooking brown rice
  • 1 cup (8oz, 250ml) beef broth
  • 2 medium carrots, roughly chopped
  • 1 medium onion, roughly chopped
  • 2oz (60gr) spinach, washed, large leaves chopped
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 2 tsp oil

Instruction

  • Cook rice in beef broth according to package directions.
  • Heat oil in a medium skillet.
  • Add carrots, onions, and sauté until tender.
  • When rice is done, add it to the skillet, along with the spinach, soy sauce and marjoram.
  • Cook, stirring, just until the spinach starts to wilt, 1 – 2 minutes.
  • Serve.
