Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 cup coarse kosher or sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp ground cayenne pepper (see notes below)

Instruction

  • If using dried peppers. Grind peppers with mini grinder or spice mill or mortar and pestle or molcajete. Commercially prepared ground pepper products can also be used.
  • Combine salt with ground peppers. I like to leave it a bit coarse.
  • Taste salt to make sure it is within your heat tolerance range. Add more peppers if it is not spicy enough or more salt if it is too salty.
  • Store in an air tight container indefinitely.
