Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 400g canned lentils drained
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 pinch salt *to taste
  • 1 carrot grated small
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp chives chopped

Instruction

  • Process lentils, breadcrumbs, egg, curry powder and salt until smooth.
  • Place mixture in a bowl and mix in carrot and herbs.
  • Add more breadcrumbs if mixture is too soft to handle.
  • Roll mixture into eight patties and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Shallow fry patties until lightly browned and heated through.
