Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, such as Colavita
  • 1 pound ground lamb, or turkey
  • 3 teaspoons tomato paste
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • Pinch of cayenne
  • ½ teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instruction

  • 1. Heat evoo in a sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add lamb and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, just barely breaking it up with a spatula. You want large crumbles.  2. Once the meat starts to brown, add tomato paste, garlic, spices, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes more, until the meat is cooked through. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve alongside our Over the Top Hummus Bar.
