Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 16 ounces fresh green beans
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 2/3 cups coconut milk

Instruction

  • Trim the ends off the green beans and rinse them under cool water.
  • Heat coconut oil over medium heat and add green beans. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add salt and pepper and cook another 5 minutes, stirring periodically.
  • Add coconut milk and chili garlic sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 25-30 minutes. The beans should be tender but not mushy when done.
  • Remove from heat and add additional salt to taste if necessary.
