Ingredients
The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- 1 pound dried black beans (rinsed and drained)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 medium jalapeno pepper (deseeded and diced)
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 2 (16-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 4 cups vegetable broth
Instruction
- Add all of the ingredients to the slow cooker and set the timer for 8 hours on low. Check that the beans are tender and cook an additional 30 minutes until they reach the desired tenderness.
