Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 egg (lightly beaten)
  • 1 lb. bacon (sliced in half)
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp. chili powder
  • 4 tbsp. raw honey (optional)
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instruction

  • Preheat your oven to 400 F.
  • Mix the ground beef, egg, onion powder, and garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch balls.
  • Wrap each meatball with a half-slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
  • Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • If you’re using honey, combine it with the chili powder in a separate bowl.
  • Drizzle the meatballs with chili powder, or rub the honey-chili mixture on each meatball.
  • Place back into the oven and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes.
