Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 0.333 cup raisins
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsps Pistachio (roughly chopped)
  • 3.5 cups milk
  • 1.25 cups Rice pudding
  • 2 Tbsps Shredded coconut
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 0.25 tsp Nutmeg
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon
  • chopped Pistachio (to garnish)

Instruction

  • Soften the raisins for approx. 15 in lukewarm water.
  • Heat the butter in a pot and roast the pistachios. Add the milk and stir in the rice and the desiccated coconut. Add the sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon, bring to the boil and then simmer on the lowest heat for approx. 25 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the drained raisins. Sweeten to taste and fill into dessert bowls. Serve garnished with chopped pistachios.
