Ingredients

The following ingredients have 9 Servings
  • 20 oz chopped frozen spinach (2 package)
  • 3/4 cup feta crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp garlic chopped
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 8 oz phyllo dough (1/2 pkg)

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375. Lightly grease baking sheet. Saute chopped onion partway. Cook spinach in microwave in a bowl with some water for about 6 minutes. Drain well, add to onion in pan, along with the fresh garlic and salt. When done cooking (about 2 minutes more), put mixture in bowl and add in cheeses and garlic powder. Arrange one sheet of phyllo dough on counter and spray with cooking spray. Add a second sheet, spray and then repeat with third sheet. Cover remaining sheets with a damp paper towel while working. Cut the stacked phyllo into 3 strips lengthwise. Place about 1 heaping tablespoon of the spinach mixture on the bottom of the strip. Fold over in triangles-- continue folding until it is all wrapped. Place seam side down on sheet. Spray with cooking spray, and sprinkle salt over top. Bake in oven for 10-20 minutes. Can use filling alone inside stromboli! Should be enough for about 3 per person-- makes about 27.
