Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- Spaghetti Pasta – 1 lb
- Ground Beef - 1 kg
- Bread - 3 slices
- Egg - 1
- Garlic - 4 cloves (chopped)
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Crushed Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Red Pepper Flakes - 1 tsp
- Coriander Leaves - 2-3 tbsp (chopped)
- Parmesan Cheese – 2 tbsp
- Olive Oil - 3 tbsp
- For The Sauce
- Tomatoes – 10 (pureed)
- Onion - 1 (chopped)
- Garlic - 4 cloves (chopped)
- Basil - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
Instruction
- Take the ground beef in a big sieve, keep it under running water to wash it. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes for the water to be completely drained.
- Chop the bread slices into small pieces and take it in a mixing bowl. Add the ground meat, salt, egg, black pepper, red pepper flakes, chopped garlic, chopped coriander leaves. Mix together.
- Make small lemon sized balls with this. Roll it smoothly between your palm.
- Take about 1/2 cup maida in a plate. Roll each ball in this flour and arrange in a plate.
- Take a big pot, add some oil. Shallow fry the balls in the oil in batches. Fry for about 2 minutes and roll. Fry till every side is browned, for a total of 6-7 minutes.Remove the balls in a plate.
- In the same pot, add chopped onions, garlic and fry for 2 minutes. Add the tomato puree, salt, black pepper and cook covered for 10 minutes.
- Add the meatballs into the sauce and cook together for 20 minutes. Add basil, mix and switch off.
- In the meantime, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain the water.
- Mix the spaghetti with the sauce and switch off. Serve immediately.
