  • 8 – 10 fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tbs. olive oil – plus more for drizzling
  • ¼ cup fresh Parmesan or Romano cheese – grated
  • ¼ cup wine
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 lb. of your favorite pasta
  • 16 oz. of ricotta cheese
  • ¼ cup of pignoli nuts
  • ¼ cup of Parmesan or Romano cheese
  • 5 – 6 fresh basil leaves – chopped
  • Fresh ground black pepper – to taste
  • ¼ tsp.  Fresh nutmeg – grated
