Ingredients

The following ingredients have 2 Servings
  • 12 slices of thick cut bacon (cut into 1/2 inch pieces)
  • 1 LB ground sausage (spicy or sweet)
  • 1 large onion (diced)
  • 3 large potatoes (peeled & cut into cubes)
  • 2 pounds of fresh (or frozen green beans, cut into one inch pieces)
  • 3 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 5 TB of butter
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instruction

  • In a large dutch oven (or deep skillet) saute the cut bacon, green beans, sausage and onions for about 5-6 minutes or until the sausage is fully cooked.
  • add in the potatoes, broth, butter, seasonings and bring it all to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and allow to cook for 35 minutes or until potatoes are cooked through, mixing occasionally.
