Ingredients

The following ingredients have 10 Servings
  • 1 stick(s) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 cup(s) mashed (very ripe) bananas
  • 1/2 cup(s) sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 1 cup(s) chopped walnuts or pecans

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350. Butter loaf pan, set aside. Cream butter and sugar with mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs to butter/sugar mixture and beat to mix well.
  • In med bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to the butter mixture, and mix till just combined.
  • Add bananas, sour cream and vanilla. Mix to combine. Stir in nuts. Pour mixture into prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake about an hour and 10 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Let rest in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a rack to cool.
