Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 5 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups butter crackers (like Ritz), crushed
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • White rice, for serving

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Stir together chicken soup, sour cream, poppy seeds, Parmesan cheese, pepper, and garlic powder. Add chicken and stir until coated. Transfer to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together the crushed crackers and melted butter. Arrange over chicken mixture in baking dish.
  • Bake, uncovered until bubbly and golden brown, about 30 minutes.
  • Serve over white rice and enjoy!
  • Note: You can also spread cooked rice in the bottom of the casserole dish before topping with chicken mixture if desired.
