The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 large eggs
- boiling water
- salt and pepper
Instruction
- Bring a pan of water to the boil, put the eggs in gently as you don't want to crack them! It's easier if you put them on a slotted spoon and lower them in.
- Turn the heat down slightly so they are on a fast simmer. Set your timer for 6 minutes!
- While the eggs are cooking, fill a bowl with ice and water - set to one side.
- Once the 6 minutes are up, use a slotted spoon to remove the eggs from the pan and plunge them into the bowl of iced water. Leave them in the iced water for 30-40 seconds.
- Then peel the eggs carefully, making sure to keep dipping them in the water. It will help make the soft boiled eggs easier to peel.
- Et voila!! The perfect soft boiled eggs ready to enjoy however you like.
