Ingredients

The following ingredients have 9 Servings
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 bag marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 14 oz Hershey chocolate bars
  • 10 graham crackers

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a small bowl, stir together the white sugar, brown sugar, egg, and butter until smooth. Stir in the graham cracker crumbs.
  • Pour in the flour and baking soda. Stir until a thick dough has formed then set aside.
  • Fill a pot of water and bring to a boil. Place a metal bowl over the boiling water to create a double boiler. Add the marshmallows and stir with a wooden spoon until sticky, then pour in the corn syrup. Stir until smooth, about fifteen minutes.
  • Grease a 9x9 pan. Divide the dough in half. Spread half of the dough across the bottom of the pan, then place 4-5 graham crackers on top followed by the chocolate bars.
  • Pour the marshmallow cream on top of the chocolate bars, then top with the remaining graham crackers. Tear the remaining dough into pieces to cover the exposed marshmallows (it will spread to cover the rest).
  • Place into the oven and bake for fifteen to twenty minutes, or until golden brown on top. Remove from the oven and let set for at least an hour prior to cutting. (Optional: skip the setting and dig right in!) Enjoy!
