The following ingredients have 1 Servings
  • 1 Smokehouse Brussels Nourish Bowl from Mann’s
  • 6 shrimp, peeled and deveined (buying them that way makes things easier!)
  • 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp canola oil

Instruction

  • Prepare the shrimp marinade: combine the soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes and brown sugar in a bowl and set aside.
  • Rinse and pat dry the shrimp. Add the shrimp to the shrimp marinade, and stir to coat the shrimp with the marinade. Let sit for a couple minutes as the pan heats up.
  • Heat the canola oil on medium high heat in a nonstick skillet. When the skillet is hot, add the shrimp. Cook the shrimp for 3 minutes on one side, turning occasionally. Turn the shrimp over, and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until they are cooked through.
  • While the shrimp cook, heat the Smokehouse Brussels Nourish Bowl. Cut open the small packets of rice and sauce, and empty the contents into the Bowl with the veggies.
  • Cover the Bowl with a paper towel, and place it in a microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  • Stir the heated Nourish Bowl, and plate the contents of the Bowl. Serve the shrimp over the veggies and grain mixture, and enjoy your easy and healthy meal!
