Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 1 egg white
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 3 cups whole unblanched almonds ((raw almonds with their skins on), about 12 ounces)
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 275° F. Line a jelly roll pan (a cookie sheet with edges) with parchment paper, a Silpat, or aluminum foil sprayed with non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk the egg white until frothy. Add liquid smoke, garlic powder, and salt, and whisk until blended. Add the almonds and toss until well coated.
- Spread the almonds evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the center of the oven for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, and let cool for 1 hour.
