Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 4 tablespoons butter (, melted)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon baking powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C). Lightly butter a 4x6 or a 5x5-inch baking dish.
  • Stir together the melted butter and sugar in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  • Stir in the egg and vanilla.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir to combine.
  • Fold in the nuts.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Slice and enjoy.
