Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 pounds beef chuck steak ((diced))
  • 1 medium onion ((chopped))
  • 3 cloves garlic ((minced))
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • salt and black pepper ((to taste))
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 12 ounces frozen mixed vegetables
  • 15 ounce can diced tomatoes ((with liquid))
  • 15 ounce can crushed tomatoes
  • 1-1/2 pounds peeled and diced potatoes
  • 4 cups beef stock
  • salt and black pepper ((to taste))
  • 2 bay leaves

Instruction

  • Brown steak, onions, and garlic in oil with salt and black pepper.
  • Stir in flour and mix to coat the meat.
  • Please the meat and all remaining ingredients in the crock and stir.
  • Cover and cook on the low setting for 8 hours.
