Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 1/2 cup butter (unsalted)
  • 1/2 cup honey (raw)
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup fermented tamari sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (fresh)
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt (celtic)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 4 pound chuck roast (or rump (grass-fed))

Instruction

  • Place the butter, honey, wine, tamari, lemon juice, Dijon, hot sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Place the roast in a slow cooker and pour the butter mixture on top. Cover the slow cooker and cook for 8 hours on low heat. Serve.
