Ingredients
The following ingredients have 5 Servings
- 1/2 cup butter (unsalted)
- 1/2 cup honey (raw)
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup fermented tamari sauce (or coconut aminos)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice (fresh)
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 4 tablespoons hot sauce
- 2 teaspoons sea salt (celtic)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 4 pound chuck roast (or rump (grass-fed))
Instruction
- Place the butter, honey, wine, tamari, lemon juice, Dijon, hot sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Place the roast in a slow cooker and pour the butter mixture on top. Cover the slow cooker and cook for 8 hours on low heat. Serve.
