Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound mild or hot Italian sausage
  • 1 medium onion, (diced)
  • 2 garlic cloves, (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 (14-ounce) can petite diced tomatoes, (undrained)
  • 1 (24-ounce) jar pasta sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teapsoon pepper
  • 8 ounces uncooked,spaghetti, (broken in thirds)
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instruction

  • Place the ground beef, sausage, and onion in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Brown and crumble the meat. Drain off grease.
  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add tomato paste, diced tomatoes, pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a minute or two.
  • Transfer half the sauce to a lightly greased 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Add the broken spaghetti. Top with remaining sauce.
  • Sprinkle on the cheese. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
  • Stir well and serve.
