Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound mild or hot Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion, (diced)
- 2 garlic cloves, (minced)
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 (14-ounce) can petite diced tomatoes, (undrained)
- 1 (24-ounce) jar pasta sauce
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teapsoon pepper
- 8 ounces uncooked,spaghetti, (broken in thirds)
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instruction
- Place the ground beef, sausage, and onion in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Brown and crumble the meat. Drain off grease.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add tomato paste, diced tomatoes, pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a minute or two.
- Transfer half the sauce to a lightly greased 6-quart slow cooker.
- Add the broken spaghetti. Top with remaining sauce.
- Sprinkle on the cheese. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
- Stir well and serve.
