Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 silverside corned beef
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 L water
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp mustard
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 1 cup pot juice
Instruction
- Silverside: Place all silverside ingredients into a slow cooker and pour in water, just enough to cover the meat - you may need more or less than a litre depending on the size of your slow cooker.
- Cook on slow for approximately 6-8 hours.
- Honey sauce: Place ½ cup pot juice, vinegar and sugar into a saucepan and bring to the boil.
- Add mustard and cornflour, and mix together well.
- Sauce should thicken. Serve and enjoy.
