Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 1 silverside roast (beef)
- 2 onions small halved
- 1 carrot medium peeled roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup malt brown vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 1/2 bay leaves
- 2L Massel Beef Style Stock
- water
Instruction
- Place all ingredients in the slow cooker, with silverside on top of the vegetables. Ensure silverside is almost emerged in the stock and water.
- Cook on low for 6½ hours until tender and slightly falling apart.
- Allow to rest for 10 minutes under foil before serving.
- Serve with mashed potato, vegetables from the slow cooker and green beans.
