Ingredients
The following ingredients have 7 Servings
- 3 large chicken breasts, ( boneless and skinless (about 2 lbs))
- 1 bottle Salsa Verde
- 1 medium onion, (chopped)
- 2 bay leaves, (fresh or dried)
- 2 tsp ground cumin, (or adjust amount to taste)
- 3 cloves garlic cloves, (peeled and crushed)
- 1 tbsp jarred sliced jalapeno or 1 fresh jalapeno, (seeded and sliced)
- salt and pepper, (to taste)
Instruction
- Place the chopped onions at the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the chicken breasts on top and add the rest of the ingredients. Cover and let cook for 6 hours on low or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Once the chicken is cooked and tender, uncover and shred with a fork. Serve as part of your tacos or burritos with some sour cream, cheese, fresh chopped cilantro and corn salsa on the side.
