Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 lbs. beef strips ((often labeled stir fry beef strips) or cut a 2lb. beef roast into strips.)
  • 1 yellow onion (cut into rings)
  • 2 bell peppers (cut into large strips (choose 2 different colors))
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 lime
  • 16 oz. LA VICTORIA® Thick 'n Chunky Salsa (use mild or medium)
  • tortillas ((corn or flour) warmed)
  • cheese
  • sour cream
  • LA VICTORIA® Thick 'n Chunky salsa

Instruction

  • Add the onion and bell peppers to the slow cooker.
  • Place the beef strips over the veggies.
  • Sprinkle the beef with the chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice over the meat and vegetables.
  • Pour over the LA VICTORIA® Thick 'n Chunky Salsa.
  • Place the lid on the slow cooker.
  • Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.
  • Serve with desired tortillas and toppings. Enjoy!
