Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 lbs pork shoulder, boneless roast, fat trimmed
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 12 oz. Not Your Father's Root Beer (or non-alcoholic)
  • 16 oz. barbecue sauce, divided

Instruction

  • Add onions, pork shoulder, beer and half of the barbecue sauce to the slow cooker.
  • Cook for 6 hours on low or until pork is tender (slow cooker times may vary).
  • Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with two forks.
  • Add pork back into slow cooker and stir in remaining barbecue sauce.
  • Serve on slider buns.
