Ingredients
The following ingredients have 9 Servings
- 1 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 4 pound boneless pork loin roast (tied together)
- 4 Granny Smith apples (washed, peeled and sliced)
- 1 small small yellow or white onion (chopped)
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Instruction
- Spray the slow cooker with non stick cooking spray
- Pour the olive oil on the bottom of the Crock-Pot, and add the apples and onions.
- Place the roast on top of the onions, fat side up, spread the mustard over the roast. Add the garlic cloves between the cuts in the roast
- Season with salt, garlic powder and pepper. Optional, add cinnamon.
- Place lid on slow cooker, and cook on high for about 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours.
- The exact cooking times may vary depending upon the size of the roast, but when it reaches 145 degrees, according to a meat thermometer, it's done.
- Cut ties off roast, slice roast, and place back into the slow cooker on warm until ready to eat.
