Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 1 small green bell pepper (diced)
- 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 TBSP cornstarch
- ½ cup beef broth
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 6 Buns
Instruction
- Start by dicing your onion and bellpepper into small pieces, transfer to a large skillet.
- Then, combine the ground beef with the onions and bell pepper, cook on the stove over medium-high heat until the meat is browned.
- Next, drain the grease from the meat mixture and put it all into your slow cooker.
- After that, add in the cornstarch, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Proceed to cook on low heat for 4-6hours.
- About 15 minutes before serving time, place the sliced cheese on top of the meat mixture and let melt and then stir the sloppy joe filling and cheese together.
- When you are ready to serve, scoop out the filling and place it onto your bread buns. Serve & enjoy!
